Hmm.
You're correct, that I didn't intentionally do that. I just tested a bit,
and found that when choosing to use reply-to instead of from, I did not
get what you say you get.
I went ahead with that, and tthense came this message, with only the list
as the recipient.
I am using pine 4.58.

Hi Bill,
I am a pine user and was unable to replicate what you described.
When I replied "yes" to the reply-to question I was dropped right
into my editor.

So did I, though interestingly Chuck, check out the header snippet from

You probably have a good point. I am in the middle of a huge conversion so
I thought maybe it had something to do with me and forgot all about it. I
notice that I am getting several double posts from this list.

Hi:
The reason why this happened is thatt Rejean's E-mail address is also in
the reply-to header of his messages, so Pine uses them both. I had to
delete his address manually when replying to him right now.

I went into outlook express account definitions and took out reply address.
I can hear the growling and snarling. How dare a filthy little Windows user
use Outlook Express on this list.

I don't think it's a Mailman problem, but something to do with the headers
generated by the offending mail client. I can't be sure, as I don't have
aa message to hand at the moment, but I suspect it might have something to
do with the person putting their own Reply-To: header on their mail, and
instead of replacing it, Mailman is just creating another one, but I don't
see this problem for everyone, and on some mailing lists, the Reply-To
header does not exist at all, which creates problems for me because I've
got Pine set up to use the reply-to address and the nickname thereof to
decide which folder to save stuff to; it's not a major deal because I do
most of this by hand as I read a message, but it's still a pain to have to
keep typing "speakup" instead of just hitting return.
Cheers.
