* Re: shameful confession shameful confession Chuck Hallenbeck @ ` Steve Holmes ` Chuck Hallenbeck ` Sean McMahon 0 siblings, 2 replies; 8+ messages in thread From: Steve Holmes @ UTC (permalink / raw) To: Speakup for Linux Hey, don't feel too bad:) I have a dual boot machine at the house which I from time to time find it either necessary or just plain easier to do a web site with the Exploder. I do have to admit that with Window-Eyes' IE navigation features and commands, I can get around some quite elaborate sites a lot easier than I can with lynx but sometimes lynx may actually be easier than IE on a few occasions. I do really with the javascript situation could be resolved for linux users though. The current text options just aren't good enough! Don't get me wrong, I do like linux better for just about everything else but we could use some real help with the web and web based applications. Right on! Php is also a more secure method. I don't know if that's analygis to a cgi or a perl. (a language or an interface) What I meant is The only thing I've seen javascript do is open audio players, search for files on my system, and crash my computer. All of these things don't need javascript. I might be more simpathetic if I understood it's purpose. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Allan Shaw" <technews@sympatico.ca> To: "Speakup is a screen review system for Linux." <speakup@braille.uwo.ca> Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2003 3:09 PM Subject: Re: shameful confession > > > ...
