My god! that was sure a looooong one but quite interesting. I had no
idea how devicive and manipulative Microsoft really was. We all poke
fun at them and I know them to be controlling and all that but
conspiring? Theyreally want to take control of the vertical and
horizontal, don't they:). As I was reading along, every time I heard
the terms "open source", linux, alternatives, I kept getting a feeling
of fresh air when that microsoft domination stuff started really
getting me down.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting here trying to group together some ideas for a
small business opportunity to perhapse, exploit some of the hopefully,
growing anti microsoft centiment.

You said you were trying to come up with some ideas for a small business.
Have you thought about trying to start an internet service provider that
fully supports Linux? Maybe you could start a system where a customer can
contract to use your ISP for a certain amount of time. In return they are
given a computer with a Linux distribution pre-installed and set up to use
your internet service provider. If the customer decides to cancel their
account before the contract is up, they have to pay for the computer.

Hi Ryan.
Internet service providers are quite expensive to start and most smaller
companies in the United States have been bought up by the baby bells or
larger internet providers. Maybe a cheeper solution would be to advertise
as a manufacturer of computers. You put the system together install Linux
either with or with out speakup support and x or no x based on the
customer's preferences and maybe you include a book or two.. who knows..
