Hi all,
Perhaps a silly question, but based on the below information, how does one
install Debian if you do not have high speed access?
My present situation is that my dsl modem is damaged and I have not
replaced it.
I did not realize that the images needed took up so many cds.
suggestions?
Karen

Hi Karen,

I just noticed that the full CD set requires a whopping 52 discs!!!  So I think it's more reasonable to download the network installation image (less than 200 MB), burn one CD, and let the installer download whatever it needs over the Internet....  Unless you want to purchase 52 blank CDs.  Unfortunately we can't use the DVD images because your ThinkPad doesn't have a DVD drive.

J.
