Not a problem really. This means your DNS is dynamically assigned.
Linux has DHCP clients available to retrieve the information for you and
this will have to be run each time you dial up your ISP. This kind of
activity is usually done inside your dial-up scripts so it should all be
automatic for you. I haven't done dial-up in so long, I probably forgot
a lot of specifics so won't be able to help you any further right now
since I'm at work right now using a remote link to check my mail. Good
luck.

Hi.
I haven't used dial up in a few years, but my last ISP sent DNS info
after connecting. On Debian, it was an option to allow DNS servers
after connection when I set up the ppp connection.
Hope this helps.

I don't see why that should bother you. All you'll need to do is to
get pppd, or whatever you use, to update your /etc/resolv.conf
whenever you connect. As for how to do that, I know it's possible, but
beyond that, you'll have to read the docs.

There is nothing wrong with dynamic dns...
If you don't want to depend of it, however, just pick 3 public dns
servers, and put them in your resolv.conf file.
