This means your DNS is dynamically assigned. Linux has DHCP clients available to retrieve the information for you and this will have to be run each time you dial up your ISP. This kind of activity is usually done inside your dial-up scripts so it should all be automatic for you. I haven't done dial-up in so long, I probably forgot a lot of specifics so won't be able to help you any further right now since I'm at work right now using a remote link to check my mail. Good luck.
