The took speakup out of the beta cycle for this release and it never made it back in. There are some folks diligently working on getting it put back into the distro, and also making enabled iso's, but neither of these have happened to date. The problem was that speakup broke several things in Red Hat and no one at Red Hat informed the proper places, and after much screaming and debate they decided to pull it blaming speakup for the problems.
