well that sure answers some questions!
the only question left is how do i get those ip numbers?

Actually, the ifconfig command will give you your own current I/P address.
Just look at the entry for the PPP connection you are using.  Example: ppp0.
You could construct a script that filters the output of the ifconfig command
soonly the ip address is shown; thus you could stick it in a variable or
whatever you want.

well if u want to talk to one of the people on the reflecter one on one,
look at the lwl page on the speakup site and get the ip from there otherwise
ask the person to ping themselves and that might help you..

a speak_freely user by there email address.
