Hello from brookston mn
my name is bob.
when I load the color.gz slackware root disk I get the the error message
inputerror can not open shaired file
when this happens all speech stops
I had to get a sighted frend to read the screen to find this message.
I got the rootdisk from http://www.linux-speakup.org

Try using the slackware 8.1 disk set, that works better and is the newest version.
Explorer has caused a general protection fault in module kernel32.dll. I'm sick of Winblows!

Can't use that one; I think that may be an old one.  Use the root
disks from the regular slackware in the 8.1 directory.
