Try using the slackware 8.1 disk set, that works better and is the newest version.
Explorer has caused a general protection fault in module kernel32.dll. I'm sick of Winblows!

Can't use that one; I think that may be an old one. Use the root
disks from the regular slackware in the 8.1 directory.
