Hi all,
In fact all is in the subject !
Has someone here succeeded in compiling and runing emacs + emacspeak on
Cygwin ?
I ask this because I absolutely need to be able to send and receive
Gnupg encrypted mail on the MsWindows platform and I don't now how to do
to perform that ! So I thought to iinstall emacs + emacspeak + gnus +
gnupg !
But is it possible to have sound under cygwin ? and for BRLTTY, do you
think it will be possible too ? It seems there is no /dev filesystem on
cygwin, am I wrong ?
All advices will be very appreciated !
Thx,

Well I know that there is no /dev directory on Cygwin. One suggestion
would be to use knoppix or oralux though you wouldn't be able to run
Windows at teh same time but it would not require repartitioning and you
could send the gnupg mails and then reboot back to Windows. Knoppix
comes with BRLTTY by default and it does have sound. It has mutt
installed as well which does support gnupg and it has emacs too I
believe. Oralux is like Knoppix but it supports emacspeak as well as
BRLTTY. I've never used Oralux before as I'm not a speech user usually
but BRLTTY worked great on Knoppix.

Thx for your response !
Yes, it's a solution but for me it's not the good one because I have to send
such messages very often in the same day and so it will not be a good solution
to have to reboot and reboot lots of time !
Thx,
