Hello,
Sorry if this seems simple, but I am new to linux. Is there anyway to set
speakup to echo words as you type rather than characters.

Mike

Hi all. Now that I've turned key echo back on and have learned how to do
so after all these years, curious to know if there is a way to have words
echo, rather than characters. Like where you would hit the space and
you'd hear the word. With a value range of only 0 and 1, I'm assuming
there is not??

And of course, if you have 2 people in the household remaining on
different consoles, I gather there is know way for 1 to choose total
silent keys and one to have echo?
