Hello folks: I believe we now have preliminary ipv6 support working
for those that care about these things. The domain linux-speakup.org
and it's subordinate machines such as speech, boss, spanky, and bumpy
should all respond to ipv6 queries.

Please let me know if there are problems. I'm relatively new to ipv6
so I probably still have some things not quite right but you have to
start somewhere.

Hi Kirk,

hmmm, they're all still accessible over ipv4 only from here, no AAAA
records in DNS. Perhaps I need to wait for the DNS info to propagate
before trying it again? Thanks for making linux-speakup.org available
over ipv6.

Greg

It should have propagated to your DNS by now.

It's working fine from here via my native IPv6 over ADSL connection (I am
participating in an IPv6 trial run by my ISP - it's significantly better than
the tunnel-based access that I was using previously.)

Very cool! Do you still have native connectivity? How large is your
block. I switched to Comcast partly because they seem to be advanced in
their IPv6 deployment.
Now, if Kirk would only move the mailing list to linux-speakup.org,
we'd be in good shape.

Hi. I would not do that we don't have much bandwidth. How is your VOIP
under comcast and better watch out -- they don't like you running any
kind of server -- at least that is what they told me when I inquired.
