Hello,
How do I get the pc speaker to work with 2.6 kernels? Do I need to enable
a kernel option or install a package?
Thanks
Chris

I believe the option you want is in the misc section, of the input
devices section, and I believe it's called pc speaker. If you build it
as a module the module will be called pcspkr.

There is a kernel driver for the pc speaker. If you have compiled it
into the kernel, you don't need to do anything. However, if you compiled
it as a module, you must "modprobe pcspkr" to get it working.

Thanks guys. I was looking in the wrong place in the kernel config menu.
