Hi all,
I have modified the Slackware 10.0 Discs 1 and 2 to contain speakup in every kernel rather than in just one kernel. If you would like to try out these discs, you can download them from:

ftp://pcdesk.net/slackware/slackware-10.0-iso

The file names are slackware-10.0-install-d1spk.iso and slackware-10.0-install-d2spk.iso

If you would prefer to use rsync, see the following:

rsync://ftp.pcdesk.net/slackware/slackware-10.0-iso

Do people think these ought to be on the Speakup ftp site?

it would be nice if the slackware developers had done this right off the
bat but, we can't have everything.
Having said that we'd need to take into account the ammount of space
kirk has available.

Well, I have no problem hosting them here if Kurk or someone could just
create a pointer to them from the web site or something.
