Hi All,

How do I remove users in slackware 8.1?

To remove any user you can do as root:

userdel -r username


The -r option will also remoe any fiels that username owns so careful with
this option.

use userdel -r username.
that will remove everything to do with that user.

In Slackware 8.0 the userdel command seems to be the proper choice.
I expect the same command is available in version 8.1.

Alex,
The command to remove a user in slackware 8.1 is:

userdel <username>

If you want there home directory removed as well, the command is:

userdel -r <username>

Be sure you remove any files or anything belonging to them as well, for
example /var/spool/mail/<username>
