Hi

  Has anyone any experience how to obtain mapping from bytes in /dev/vcsa
to relevant unicode characters. I have red console_ioctl back and forth
but could make no sense about the mappings between unicode, fontpos and
screen mapping.

  Any help or pointers are welcome:-)

It's called SFM (Screen Font Map). Use the GIO_UNIMAP ioctl to get the
struct unipair array of translations.
