Are there any plans to continue the listen-up development?
TIA

There are always plans. Will it happen? Depends how much time I find
and whether others are willing to help. Currently we need to port the
open source libraries OSALP over to libao. Then we need to get the
book marks working correctly and pitch shift also working. Anyone
have other ideas or recommendations?

To: Farhan, Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
Listen-up is an open-source daisy book reading program.
For more information go to www.daisy.org or the www.linux-speakup.org
site.

Hello,
Thanks for responding so quickly.
>From a user perspective, I think that implimenting the find function would
make the program a lot more useful.
Short cut keys for navigating the menus would also be nice.
>From a technical perspective, it make sence to change the audio library to
a cross-platform one.
Does any one know of an internet resource describing the production
methods for daisy books?
Kind regards,
Willem
