problems patching with CVS Speakup

Hi.  A few minutes ago, I ran the checkout script for the CVS version of
Speakup with the Linux 2.4.21 source in /usr/src/linux-2.4.21.
I ran "checkout /usr/src/linux-2.4.21" and the following hunks failed:
Patching files [pppppp1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux-2.4.21/arch/mips/config-shared.in.rej
pppp1 out of 3 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux-2.4.21/drivers/char/Makefile.rej

/usr/src/linux-2.4.21/drivers/char/keyboard.c.rej
ppppp1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux-2.4.21/include/linux/miscdevice.h.rej
p] done.
Copying files [ccccc] done.
Is this a known problem with this version of the Linux kernel?

Yep, speakup breaks on checkout with 2.4.21.  I will fix that probably
later today but then everyone will have to upgrade to keep up with
speakup if they want it.

So, before I waste my time trying it, is Speakup 1.5 also broken with
2.4.21?
