Not sure about slack 8.0 and 8.1, but 9.0 and 9.1 come with rp-pppoe
as a package in the n series.

Hi:
You can get RP-PPPOE from http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products/rp-pppoe/
There is installation instructions there. If I remember correctly, I
believe there is also a dsl-howto on the LDP site.
Disclaimer: I've never had to use PPPOE, though I know people who have.
