Hi guys,
I was wondering, is it possible to in a feature release of speakup add the following feature?
in vocaleyes by gwmicro, there is a review command. the review command works like this
you hit a key like ctrl or alt or what ever and it puts the screenreader into review mode, what this does I guess, it locks the screen, and allows you to read the screen with all screen reading commands
THe reason I like this command, it allows you to read the screen like in a irc client or other programs that the text scroles. the review cursor that shows on the screen routes to the actual cursor so you can find your spot... If you guys got anyquestions let me know. Thanks

Hi Juan-and-All: You know just before Bill Acker-and-I installed
Linux--and-speakup, I asked him about review, because I love having my cursor
frozen in time. After useing speakup around 6 weeks or so, the numpad 6, 7,
and 8 are quite similar. Sure if pine updates with a new message while I am
cursoring, it throws things off a bit.
For the record, I think Vocal-Eyes should be a standard for most
screen-readers.
Hart

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
Hi:
If you park the cursor, it should stop the cursor from reacting to stuff
that happens on screen. To freeze screen output altogether, scroll lock
should work just nicely, I use it a lot when using IRC.
Geoff.
