I'm curious as to wether anyone has laptop keymaps for speakup. I'm
supposed to be getting a gateway laptop for school, and I'd rather use the
laptop's keyboard then a normal one. i checked into prices for numpads,
but their expensive and usb.

If anyone can tell me where I might be able to get a laptop keymap, and
tell me how to put it to use, I'd appreciate it.

Hi all. Isn't the bios that Gateway uses somewhat incompatible with Linux
at the moment? Maybe whatever I read is kind of outdated, but I read
somewhere that Gateway laptops put up a fight against Linux so to speak.

Explorer has caused a general protection fault in module kernel32.dll. I'm sick of Winblows!

Hi,

I have a keymap that works well with Toshiba and Twinhead laptops. I
have no idea about Del. I would need to know what version of Speakup
you're using 1.0, or a recent CVS version. Let me know, and I'll email
it
to you. Actually, my version differs from the standard in only one
respect. The laptop keymap allows the right alt key to be used as an
insert key for chording.
