Hi all,

For those who are interested, I've put IBM ViaVoice sinthesizer on my site.
You can find a manual and ViaVoice SDK there also.

The address is:
http://teddy.fcc.ro/
There is a link for Linux and Unix OS there.

Teddy,

Hi Teddy,

Did you read the license included in the Viavoice RPM? I think it says "no
redistribution" but I'm not completely sure.

No, You can't use any software synthesizer with speakup, but you can
probably use it with another screen reader such as Emacspeak or Yasr.

Hi all,

No, you did not understand the message correctly. You can not use
software synthesizers with speakup. Teddy has it for emacspeak.

Hi Cris. Viavoice is for those people who want to use emacspeak with software speech. Speakup does not support this.

No, you cannot use ViaVoice with Speakup.

All the message means is that Octavian has posted software that
IBM has withdrawn, despite IBM's licensing language. Or, maybe he
got permission?
