Hi all. I got alsaplayer to play ogg files and it works great for offline
content (content on my local machine). I'm trying to listen to icecast
stations, however alsaplayer doesn't seem to handle m3u playlists. Does
anyone know a vorbis player which supports m3u? Also, I was trying to
build the vorbis tools. Unfortunately, libcurl is required as one of the
dependencies. http://curl.haxx.se seems to be down for right now I don't
know if this is permanent, but has anyone else run into this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Try going to http://curl.sourceforge.net which is the US mirror site.
You should be able to download it there.

Hi Tom. Will try that thanks for the info. When was the last time you
tried this? Was the download link pointing to http://curl.haxx.se?

Have you tried looking at freshmeat www.freshmeat.net? That is where I
found libcurl. As I remember the download link on the results page
when you search for libcurl or curl works. Good luck.

Hi. I was refering to the Linux end of things. Libcurl is a library which
is apparently needed by the Linux vorbis tools, however they don't
document it. I have tried various configure options and I still get the
same error. Does anyone know of somewhere where I can get a tared version
of libcurl? Every site I have found on google links to curl.haxx.se which
is currently down as far as I know. I have attempted to contact them about
this package, so far no response. Thanks!
