Hi guys. Tomorrow will be setting up a machine with Red Hat that will be
acting as a gateway for 3 or 4 machines. In debian to geet teh machine to
connect to the net I used the pppoe package that comes iwth Debian. What
command line tools should I use to configure this in RH 7.2?
Thanks guys.
Tommy

The debian pppoe package is a packaging of Roaring Penguin's PPPOE (PPP
over ethernet) client. There's probably an RPM of it somewhere, but you
can get it as sources from http://www.roaringpenguin.com/products.html
Geoff.

urrrrr. So? This is not talking about dialup PPP, this is to do with
PPPOE - PPP over Ethernet which is a standard many DSL companies use.
