Hi there Phil, your test did reach the list for the Speakup screen review

Cheers.

Hi:
I think there would be issues with the serial port driver used in speakup
if you tried running it on a mac. But I'm only speculating here. I just
asked Kirk on the reflector and he said that if it was using a 16550 UART
and the addressing was the same, then it should work fine. Wanna try it
for us and report back?
Geoff.

Yea, I wonder about the mac and the new OS, OS10; it uses FreeBSD under
the hood. Would sound promising but don't know if Speakup could function
under FREE BSD. Any ideas?
