Hi:

I think there would be issues with the serial port driver used in speakup
if you tried running it on a mac.  But I'm only speculating here.  I just
asked Kirk on the reflector and he said that if it was using a 16550 UART
and the addressing was the same, then it should work fine.  Wanna try it
for us and report back?

Yea, I wonder about the mac and the new OS, OS10; it uses FreeBSD under
the hood.  Would sound promising but don't know if Speakup could function
under FREE BSD.  Any ideas?
