speakup cursor mode

hi,
i recently used speakup 0.10a, and when i pressed a key (cannot remember which one) it said "cursor on" or cursor off. what does this mean? does this mean speakup has more intelligence in editors and menus now?

Yes, it is still shaky at times, but speakup now speaks as you move in editors. 
The key you're thinking of is the second from the right on the top row of the numeric keypad. I think it's the star, but I'm not sure of its name.

Yes, but it's by no means complete.  It's not 100% reliable, and a lot of
other messages stop speaking.  Also, turning keyboard echo off in this mode
is not respected, and even shutting speakup up with insert-enter is not
respected either.
