Can anyone tell me if the problem with the CVS version of Speak_Freely
messing with the PCM setting has been fixed?

Jim has fixed it (more or less).  AFAIK, he hasn't checked it in yet.
Expect a checkin soon.

Well, I have checked in a new CVS of speak_freely.  It fixes a big bug,
yet there still might be little ones creeping around.  Please, test and
let me know.  Thanks.
