Hi guys.
I've decided to do away with the zipspeak for now and go for something a little more adventurous.
I just came across a redhet 7.2 distro on cd rom and I want to know if I can use the redhat 7 kernals to install it with speakup.
and also do any of the linux distros support the intell ether net nic. I'm thinking along the lines of possibly not because it is an isa card..
thanks for your patients with me so far guys.
Shaun..

Hi:
I have an intel etherexpress pro (I think) which is an ISA NIC. It has
both BNC and RJ45 connections. It runs just fine. Linux supports loads of
ISA hardware (hell, it will run on a 386).
As for RH7.2, that is pretty recent, but Bill will surely give you an
answer regarding boot disks for it.
Geoff.

Hi Shaun, the guy to talk to about RedHat installs is Bill Acker, Bill
monitories this list, so keep a look out for him.
