Hi,

Dont know if you have seen this proposal by the W3C to allow patented
technologies to be built into web technologies. It sucks big time. They
have extended the forum for public comment until 11th of October.
The more people who respond the more likely they will drop it.

Have you read (and understand) this? I don't know that I can call is
scary. I would find it objectionable if I were a small fry company trying
to make money with the leading edge stuff. But it won't effect free
software at all.
