I would look for a document on how to setup either a pop3 or an imap
server. If you are going to access the mail from several machines, you
will want imap. But outlook (in typical m$ fasion) uses a perverted form
of imap and it might not work. Good luck.

Nothing is hard if you know the answer or are used to doing it.

Hi, Jack,
Go to ftp://updates.redhat.com/6.2/i386/. Grab the imap-2000 package
and install it. In /etc/inetd.conf, find the lines containing pop3 and
imap. Remove the octothorp (#) from the beginning of both lines. Then,
do: service inetd restart. If you only want one of the services, just
uncomment the individual line. I don't know anything about your mail
packages, so I don't know what the preferred protocol is. That should
take care of collecting mail from your Linux box.
HTH.
