Ok, can someone point me to what document to look on when trying to
configure the swap partitions? The reason I ask is that I have a swap
partition on each of two drives but only one is active. I don't know how
to make the other active as well. I don't need the answer as much as where
to look. Thanks.

I wanted to thank Chuck and Kirk for their responses. Kirk's suggestion
was right on and now I have both swap partitions active. Didn't take long
at all.

Kir, I do not think you can have more than one swap partition. Am I wrong?

Kirk, why would you want to have two swap partitions?

Actually, you can have one swap partition per physical disk. The amount
used is a function of how much memory you have with a max of 128MB per
partition. (Meaning that a swap partition larger the 128MB is wasted
space.) By activating the swap on more then one drive, you get a
performance increase. (Actually any disk operation split accross more then
one drive is typically faster.)

Why not? All depends how much you want and how much space you have and
where it is.

Geoff.

Yes. I am using two, each one is 128 megs.
