Hi listers -
This list has sure been asleep lately. I hope I am still signed up on it!
Does anyone know of any open source (or other) Linux software for
encoding/decoding realaudio files, converting between that format and some
other common format such as .wav or .mp3? Thanks for any suggestions.
Chuck.

Heh yeah. The list is working.
Hmm, I know they have real producer that can do encoding for linux, but I
don't know if it works in text mode or not.

There is a program called ecasound which, amongst all kinds of other neat
stuff, can convert between sound formats. I'm sure that if you added, for
example, trplayer to its list of auxiliary players, it could convert a
realaudio file into a wav. Doing the reverse illudes me.
