The contact info is still there. You have to go to the lookup page as
opossed to the availablilty check the following is from their record:

You have to do

whois domainname.com@whois.domain-registration-service.com

So if you don't know which registration site registered the domain, just a
regular whois (which points to whois.internic.net) will tell you.

bw-whois works better than the original whois for this; it automatically
does the necessary queries.  Check freshmeat for a url...
