Hi all.
I seem to recall that there once was a rawrite program for windows on
the speakup ftp site. However, I can't find it. Can someone please
point me to where I can get this?
Thanks.

Hello all,
Can you tell me what version of speakup is with slackware 9.1? I'm in
the process of downloading it with the goal of installing gnome and
gnopernicus.
Thanks

Hi
I didn't know what the latest version was so I searched via google,
"rawwrite windows" and it gave me the following URL:
http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/rawwritewin-0.7.zip

I should have said in one of the older HOWTO's, as floppy diskette
booting is no longer supported in RH 9.
If you ftp to linux-speakup.org and cd to the redhat directory, you'll
see older HOWTO html files there. Either the 8 or 73 HOWTO will do it.

Hi. There are I think 2 versions of rawrite for windows in the
slackware rootdisks directory on any slackware mirror.
The source for these programs is also available in /source/rootdisks
on any mirror.

The blindness of blinks is absolutely amazing. One person says I
can't find it where it used to be and everyone goes off in a tither.
It still appears to be in goodies where it has always bin
ftp://linux-speakup.org/pub/linux/goodies/rawwritewin-0.4.zip. Quit being so blind.

oh dear.
if only.
you could liken that to a sightling that's lost their glasses only to
find
them either on the top of their heads or on the bridge of their noses
where they left them in the first bloody place.
hahahahah

I can't necessarily help you with that, but if all else fails, you could
get it from the slackware ftp site, look in slackware 7.1 or so, you'll
find rawrite therefor everything from DOS to Windows 2000, maybe even XP,
but I can't be certain of that.
