Hi

Please accept my apologies for any misunderstanding I may have caused
when I proposed the restriction to plain text messages for this list.  I
would never advocate the barring of messages simply on the basis of the
format in which they're sent.  When I said 'restricted' I meant as
Yahoogroups lists can be set so that html messages have the tags
stripped out and a line inserted that reads something like:

'None text portions of this message have been removed'

In keeping with my habit of being cantankerous I would say there's no
reason to apologize for misunderstanding Gena.  My opinion is any
messages which contain html tags should be send to the bit-bucket.
Any messages which contain attachments other than seven-bit plain text
should be sent to the bit-bucket.  A mailing list has no need for
binary attachments.  It also has no need for html particularly when it
only serves to obfuscate hopefully clearly written text.
