Hi Samuel and all,
I just tried to boot my laptop with the latest Debian netinst image from
your site.
The machine beeped, but no other audio feedback was forthcoming.
I suspect this is just a problem of failing to unmute the right alsa
channels.
Is there any chance we might be able to steal the Talking Arch script for
doing that? It unmutes my card properly.
Best,
Zack.

Hi.
Where can I get this netinstallation image?
I've not read all mail in this tree, so can't see the homepage, I got a
system crash, so have to do a reinstall of the computer.
/Kristoffer

If you tell me where it is, it'd be easier :)
I'd rather see espeakup itself have an option for that, however, along
with setting _all_ audio levels when using the speakup volume shortcuts.

Here: <http://the-brannons.com/livecdsound>.
I think that it is more-or-less the same script that is distributed with
Debian's alsa utilities, modified by me for my live CD.

Are you talking about Mac OS X?
If so: This is the Speakup list!
But have a look here:

Huh?
I only speak 2 languages quite well (though my english is far from perfect).
The above sentence makes no sense to me.
Do you mean VMWare?
Just a wild guess because "wmvareanatennded" could look like a mispelled
VMWare <smile>
If so I think there is a list for blind/visually impaired users dealing
with virtual machines running inside VMWare etc.
I think it's hosted on yahoogroups or googlegroups.
So do a search on yahoogroups.com / googlegroups.com and you will
probably find it.

Thanks! I've indeed taken the script from alsa-utils, let's see how
good it works.
