Hi everyone
I would like to know whether speakup supports versions of Fedora, debian and
ubuntu.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Those 3 distros work, and most distros work if you can build your own
kernel compile it and install it... The kernel is fairly similar across
all distros, but different distros add certain patches. And an advantage
of using debian for example is that you can install speakup from
aptitude using m-a instead of having to build from source... You can of
course build from source as well if you would like. Not sure wherether
ubuntu or fedora have speakup in their package manager...
Cheers,
Danny
