I know some on this list have recently upgraded debian by adding
gnome and I wonder if anyone has had any of these issues.

Since doing this, I am getting the following error message at
random times.
debian kernel: ( 1274.695244) "echo 0 >
/proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs" disables this message.

I never got this before putting gnome on but have also upgraded to
squeeze.

I put the message in to google and got no resaults.

A bit of a pain when it keeps appearing in the consol.

Not sure if there is a link but during system shutdown I get
"terminating all remaining processes failed and
network is unreachable.
