Helo Group,
Sorry to be a pain but I have been trying to edit /etc/lilo.conf as I
am having trouble with specifying my synth on bootup.
However, I think I have caused more problems as I am now getting
more error messages.
As I have only just got linux installed, I am thinking this file should
be quite simple. Could anyone tell me what the lines should read in
the file, (I have an apolo).
Thanks.
Regards

Keith,
I have had quite a bit of trouble with
lilo, but I think by now I understand this program.
1. You can run the command liloconfig.tty
and this will allow you to create the lilo.conf file.
There are tricks, but you may know about them already.
2. You can, perhaps more safely, just create the
/etc/lilo.conf file using an editor.
I can send you a copy of my /etc/lilo.conf file if you like.
Good luck!
Larry
