Hi Kirk and all:
I have not yet installed Linux yet because I am waiting to get some 
speech for it, however I have read just about every manual in the 
LDP! [smile].

My question is whether the Apollo driver is yet complete. 
Secondly, if you would like help with writing the apollo or other 
drivers, I would be willing to put some time in to get speakup 
working with some more synths; just give me the info. Regards,

The apollo 2 is done; the apollo 1 is not but I might get one of
these beasts if someone can get me cable pinouts for an apollo 1 and
command codes.

Hi Saqib: I have the Apollo driver mostly finished.  I have not been
able to get it to behave correctly with pitch shifts for uppercase
characters so for now it says cap before each capitalized letter.  I
will send it to you or whoever would like to try it.  I consider it
pretty experimental because I have not had time to do extensive work with
it so feedback/help would be appreciated.
