Hello,
I have my vimrc file the following. It doesn't read characters when I press
backspace.
Is there a setting to fix so speakup is able to do this?
Alonzo
set noruler
set sw=4 tw=75

I am also seeing this problem. It cropped up fairly recently, I believe.
I don't know a solution. I do note that spaces are announced, but not
alphanumerics.

I've actually never known a time when I'd hear the character spoken when I
backspaced. It worked before? Was there some setting for it that recently
stopped working? Thanks!
