Hello all,
Just had a friend on another list ask about installing Ubuntu,
as he can't seem to get the accessible installation setup going. Is
there a URL where I can direct him to, so he can get it going? TIA,

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.
It has been a while since I did a fresh install, but I believe these are
the steps:
after the disk stops spinning:
press enter
press F5 for accessibility
press #3 for speech
Press enter twice, and it should boot into Ubuntu with speech.
There is an icon on the desktop called "install Ubuntu".

This is for Ubuntu 10.10 desktop i386 or x64.
We did a launch of the accessible install last night, here are the keys
we hit:
Boot the cd, hit space to display the language chooser.
Hit enter to select English.
Press f5 for accessability.
Press 3 then enter for speech.
You are now on a menu that is try Ubuntu or install ubuntu so hit enter
to try ubuntu (you can select install from the desktop) or down arrow
once for install ubuntu and hit enter.
Your machine should come up talking with espeak and Orca.
