Hello,

About indexing support with software speech, speakup_soft does support
it. It however seems that espeakup does not make use of the interface,
so it will indeed not work with it.

It should however not be hard to implement that, since it's a completely
userland issue, one just has to see how the espeak synthesis can report
indexes, and use a write() call to notify the kernel about indexes.

Any taker for this task?

Samuel
