Alternate Git Repository

I haven't done a git-pull in a while so wonder where some alternate
sites are to pull speakup.  The standard linux-speakup.org location is
sucky tonight.  I started a git-pull and after reading some pack
information, it just sits and sits and sits and sits; you know what I
mean now.  The bankwidth is still a big problem at speakup.org.

know.  If I clone from one, you can't then pull from another, can you?
I wouldn't think so.  I can do a new git-clone; the files aren't that
big.

I just happened to be reading my mail when your message came in, so I
replied since I thought I knew the answer (shrug).

I guess it should work, provided all the mirrors are in sync, but
don't quote me on that, it's just a guess.

Actually, I did a git-pull on an existing speakup git tree yesterday,
and if I recall correctly, one of the first messages I saw was
something like looking for mirrors for linux-speakup.org, but that
could just have been my imagination though. I do know that the git-pull
went quite fast, and I hadn't updated it for a good while after first
cloning from the primary linux-speakup.org source.

Well that was my original problem.  I cloned from linux-speakup.org
several months ago and done a pull or two since them without much
problem but last night, it just hung.  It started getting some pack
information but then just hung and I didn't wanna sit around for an
hour trying to get it all.  Bill Hubbs' git tree went really fast with
the clone.  That's all I know.  I'm quite new to git and all if its
doings.

Ttry changing the url in speakup/.git/remotes/origin and give it a shot...

Thanks for the suggestion; I'll keep that in mind if I run into this
problem again.  It would make sense; one is "faking git out" into
thinking it originally got the builds from the new URL all along.
