network issue fixed

Hi, now after performing the steps greg said my network card is working 
normally.  The question now is if I don't install the new driver in 
windows as I restored from a backup I took with image for windows will 
linux and windows work like they did before this new driver was installed?

As far as I can tell up to now at least, yes, if you restored a backup
which didn't have that driver installed, everything works just like it
used to, as long as you're sure not to install that driver again.
