Hi

I have just switched from using espeak to viavoice as my software synth for speakup under ubuntu 7.04. However, when I do a
modprobe speakup_sftsyn
speechd-up is loaded automatically. Obviously, I no longer need this.

Could someone possibly tell me where the config file is that sets up this behaviour?

Many thanks

Alastair Irving
