Hi,
yesterday evening I started a Gnome session using Orca, while Speakup was
running.
I had to quit Speakup, because the keystrokes of both seem to collide:
Speakup wants to use the numpad, while Orca does the same.
Is this known, and is there a way to avoid this? Has the decission of the
Ubuntu team to take off Speakup in the coming versions to do with this?
Hermann

To: Speakup is a screen review system for Linux.

In the console running X (usually TTY7), just press the printscreen
key. That will shut off Speakup for only that console and you're good
to go. You can then have the other consoles talking with no
problems. The only side effect is that you'll have to cancel the
screen capture dialog, so don't do this until after Orca is running :)
