Kirk and all,
Have the recent cvs changes supporting 2.6.17 made 2.6.16 no longer
viable? or has something else happened? I got the following errors
patching a 2.6.16 source tree with speakup from cvs this morning:
Patching files [ppp1 out of 10 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux/drivers/char/keyboard.c.rej
p1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux/drivers/char/Makefile.rej
ppp1 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux/drivers/Makefile.rej
p1 out of 2 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file
/usr/src/linux/include/linux/keyboard.h.rej
Any workarounds or fixes appreciated. The source tree I was patching had
already been patched with Debian modifications. This has never been a
problem in the past though.
Chuck

Yup. The most recent cvs check in said that it was specifically to
apply patches for 2.6.17. So, you'll need to check out speakup from
cvs as of a week ago I think to compile against 2.6.16.
