I'm getting a connection refused message when trying to run the cvs 
checkout script.

	You need to modify the checkout script to use fl.linux-speakup.org. That should solve your problem.

Speaking of that, how often does the mirror on fl.linux-speakup.org
get updated? I tried to patch speakup from fl.linux-speakup.org into
2.6.17, right after seeing that the patches for it were in on the cvs
mailing list, but got failed hunks, so I guess fl.linux-speakup.org
hadn't been updated yet.

Whoops!  We did an upgrade on linux-speakup.org or bumpy the other day
and the cvs line in inetd.conf got turned off by accident.  I have
turned it back on again sorry about that.

Also Greg you asked about updating fl.linux-speakup.org it was being
updated once a day until the machine changed since then I've been
updating it on an ad-hoc basis by hand.  I will set the cron job back
up.  It is currently rsync'ing currently so should be up to date soon.
